My film rewound back into the camera before all the film was used up. What could have happened?

The most common reason for premature rewind of film in an automatic camera is low battery power. If film rewinds in your camera before all the film has been exposed, have the batteries in your camera checked and replace them if necessary. It is also possible to activate the rewind mechanism accidentally. Make sure you know where the switch is located on your camera to prevent accidental activation.
